Jessica Powell from Seaside, Ca but currently resides in Salinas, Ca. She attended MPC to receive her AA degree in Social Science & continued her education to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Monterey Bay. While working on her Kinesiology degree, Jessica has over 5 years of experience in the Health & Medical field, working with Physical Therapist and Collegiate Athletic Trainers. She then continued her education by receiving her single subject credential in Health Science for the Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways and currently has established a Sports Medicine Pathway program at Monterey High School. Ms. Powell is a club advisor for two youth based programs called Pearl Status and The Huddle, that promote self-confidence and worth, morals, standards and values for our youth. She has served the Monterey County community and students for the past ten years through numerous community programs ranging from athletics, youth clubs, mentorship programs, and outreach organizations that work with people from 5-30 years of age. Her personal mission in life is to empower youth and to bring their greatness out of them.
